S (Narrow Cross Point)
- Cuts the leather in the sewing direction
- Straight seam

- Stitch holes are elongated and clearly visible in the seam

SAN™ 12 for creating even 2-needle decorative seams on leather
The SAN™ 12 special application needle is equipped with a flat shank that ensures that the cutting geometry of the needle is precisely aligned. This results in two even seams with an optimum seam appearance. The SAN™ 12 with LR point is used for slanted seams, where the SAN™ 12 needle is only used on the right-hand side. The SAN™ 12 with S point is used for straight seams, where the SAN™ 12 needle is used on both sides.
